Although the programme is open to all ages Taiohi Maori will be targeted and encouraged to take up the opportunity to extend their skills and knowledge in an industry that is critical to regional and Iwi development. It has excellent opportunities for advancement including continued learning through modern apprenticeships, industry traineeships, degrees and diplomas through Massey or Lincoln Universities ultimately leading to management , consultancy and technical careers in agribusiness. Should there be an over subscription of suitable applicants, final selection will be based on a demonstrated commitment to the industry.
